How this site remembers you
This privacy policy explains how Cashwin – the independent information portal at cashwin.games – collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our site. We are not the operator of the casino platform reviewed here; this notice covers only what reaches us through your use of this portal, not what the operator collects once you register and play on its own domain.
cashwin.games is the data controller for any personal information collected through this site. If you have questions about how we handle your data, write to [email protected].
The analytics question
Technical data we observe: when you browse cashwin.games, our server logs record your IP address, the pages you visit, the time and date of each request, your browser type and the site that referred you here. We also set cookies – small text files stored in your browser – to remember your consent choices and to distinguish one visit from another. You'll find detail on those cookies in our separate cookie policy.
Analytics and advertising: we use third-party services to understand how visitors navigate the site and which content proves most useful. Google Analytics, for instance, tracks aggregate behaviour – page views, session duration, bounce rate – but does so with IP anonymisation turned on, so your full address never reaches their servers. Advertising partners may place cookies to tailor the promotions you see elsewhere on the web; you can decline those through our cookie banner without breaking the site's basic functions.
Data you hand over: if you write to us through a contact form or send an email to [email protected], we receive whatever you include in that message – your name, email address and the substance of your question. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed to answer you and to maintain a record of our exchange, typically no more than two years unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
Scripts we do not control
This portal embeds content from providers we don't operate – video players, social-media widgets, analytics scripts. Each of those third parties runs under its own privacy policy, and the data they collect when you interact with their embedded features does not pass through us first. We choose providers carefully, but we cannot dictate their data practices. The cookie policy names the main ones; declining third-party cookies in our banner limits what they can track here.
Your options
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights over personal information we hold:
- Access: request a copy of the data we've collected about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we process your information while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format or have it transferred to another controller.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests, or to direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent: where processing relies on your consent (analytics, marketing cookies), you can withdraw it at any time through our cookie banner or by writing to us.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to identify your request. We'll respond within one month. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, the UK's supervisory authority for data protection.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal information to anyone. We share data only in these circumstances: with hosting providers who store the site's files and database; with analytics platforms that help us understand traffic patterns; with email services that deliver messages between you and our editorial team; and with advertising partners who measure campaign performance. Each processor is bound by contract to protect your data and to use it only for the purpose we've authorised. We do not transfer data outside the United Kingdom except through services whose international arrangements meet UK adequacy standards or that offer standard contractual clauses approved by the ICO.
Lawful basis
We process your personal information on these legal grounds: legitimate interests (operating an informational site, understanding how visitors use it, improving content and navigation – balanced against your own interests and rights); consent (for non-essential cookies such as analytics and advertising); and legal obligation (keeping records where regulations or court orders require it). You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of what we did before you withdrew it.
Minors
This site reviews gambling services restricted to persons aged 18 and over (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If we discover we've received data from a minor, we delete it immediately. Parents and guardians who believe a child has shared information with us should contact [email protected] so we can remove it.
Revisions
We may update this privacy policy from time to time – to reflect changes in our practices, in the services we use, or in the legal framework. When we make material changes, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you through a banner on the site. Continued use of cashwin.games after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
